“As Jill, Shykind had me at hello, but then embraced me with her powerful and textured singing…She is simply fantastic.”

HERE’s what i’ve been up to!

HOW TO BE YOURSELF at GREEN ROOM 42

After a sold out night at Don’t Tell Mama in December 2024, I performed HOW TO BE YOURSELF in July 2025 at The Green Room 42! I wrote HOW TO BE YOURSELF to explore bring personal authenticity to the stage and out in the world. It is an exercise in bringing my true self on stage, and to explore why being yourself really is so important! How To Be Yourself is silly, light-hearted but genuine in it’s self-reflection, with a diverse set list, from Sondheim, to Joni Mitchell, to Sabrina Carpenter and beyond! Joan Baez: I AM A NOISE, NYC Premiere

I voiced the journal entries of thirteen year old Joan Baez in the new documentary, I AM A NOISE, directed by Miri Navasky, Maeve O’Boyle, and Karen O’Connor. The film had it’s NYC premiere on October 6th, 2023, at the iconic Film Forum with a Q&A panel for Joan, Miri, Maeve, and Karen, led by Jane Fonda! I AM A NOISE has achieved great box office success since it’s premiere in Berlin, and is an New York Times Critic’s Pick. It can also now be streamed at home!

Orange Blossom by Alia Tompkins and Nasma Kublawi

In June 2023, I co-starred with Netflix’s Salma Malhas in a coming of age short film dramedy, written and produced by Alia Carita and Nasma Kublawi, about the last night two friends share together before life takes them on different paths. Fun fact: Alia, Nasma, and I all went to high school together when lived in Qatar. Post-production will begin in the late summer, so stay tuned for updates!

Somehow We Manage at Feinstein’s/54 Below

I made my directorial and producing debut at Feinstein’s/54 Below. In the Broadway World Review below I was praised for my outstanding vocals and was, “commended for putting all the pieces of the musical comedy concert in the right place, in order to give their audience a night of cabaret that wouldn't change the world, only make people laugh. Oh, wait... laughter does change the world.” - BWW, Stephen Moser.
